ARE YOU COUNTRY STRONG?
The River Bottom Country Runs for St Jude returns for our 8th Annual race on June 7, 2025 @ 7:00am.
It features a 5K and Half Marathon that will test your strength and agility as you navigate central Illinois' finest farm country.
These scenic runs start with a .25 mile hill and then flatten out for the remainder of the course.
All races are out and back style ending downhill, making your last mile your fastest!
MAKING AN IMPACT
The River Bottom Country Runs has a passion for creating good through doing what we and so many of our supporters love - - running!
We Run for Those Who Can't!
For the past six years we've been raising money for St Jude Runs, a fundraising arm of Children's Research Hospital. During that time we've raised and donated over $72,000! Our goal for 2023 is to surpass $100K raised for St. Jude.
St Jude Runs started over 40 years ago with one crazy idea. Run from the main St. Jude hospital in Memphis, TN to the affiliate hospital in Peoria, IL. This crazy idea has evolved into 35 different runs from other cities all running into Peoria, joining the Memphis to Peoria runners, and raising over $4M each year for St Jude!
